What our customers say....

Never tried Pilates before, but when I spotted Lucy’s class, I thought I would try it. The classes are suitable for all levels and they really are fun. I would recommend to anyone thinking about it to give it a go.

I first came across Lucy on my FB feed and was looking to begin Pilates after a few years away from it. Lucy was super friendly and responsive to my early enquiries and I signed up.

To be honest I did not have very high expectations and that’s just because I had the best teacher ever about 20 years ago and no one ever quite matched that instructor.
However, Lucy has been a superb and I am so glad I took the chance. Why? Well because Lucy’s knowledge, experience and professionalism shines.

The instruction in class is spot on, encouraging, correcting form with the right amount of balance between pushing to be better with kindness and motivation along the way too.

I can honestly say that if you attend one of Lucy’s classes you will not be disappointed.

Never tried Pilates before so thought I’d give it a go, glad I found Lucy’s class. Great teacher very encouraging and explains everything clearly so you know you are doing it right. I always leave feeling great. Would recommend anyone to try 1 of her classes.

Utopia Pilates is so good! It’s the first course I have attended which really challenges you the more you go. I feel stronger after the first 12-week course. and a bit more flexible. PLUS, it has really helped keep my anxiety at bay. Thank you, Lucy!

As being practising yoga for more than one year in small groups, in some studio classes or through some 1-2-1 classes, I really understand what kind of teacher or an instructor can be regarded as a good teacher-the one that can spot your individual problems and help to correct them, nothing is more important than practising in the right way.

Lucy is such a professional instructor as she pays attention to every single individual if they do use the right muscle to do the poses correctly, which really matters! Without any fancy marketing, every single minute practising with Lucy is grounded and towards your own progress. I really enjoy these Pilates classes with Lucy X

As a newbie to Pilates, I found Lucy very welcoming and gentle in her approach. I have now started the next block and I’m really enjoying the classes. The long-standing pain in my shoulders has noticeably improved, my balance is improving and I am getting reacquainted with my abs!

The classes combine relaxation with some quite challenging stretches but Lucy shows you how to adjust them to your level. She is encouraging and motivating. I leave the class knowing that I have exercised, but also feel relaxed and energised. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of joining a class.

Lucy’s classes are great! My flexibility, my mobility and my core are getting better. Lucy is very gentle but challenges you also to progress. I always leave with big smile and my legs or/and my arms trembling a bit!

I would recommend to anyone to try Lucy’s classes.

9 weeks of Pilates with lucy, loved it, time to relax, stretch and clear the mind… Great teacher can’t wait to start the next block sessions!

Lucy’s Pilates classes have helped my strength and flexibility. Lucy’s calm, relaxed and professional approach made me feel at ease.

Lucy takes into account your own limits and encourages you to work at your own pace.

I want to improve on my Pilates technique and look forward to next week.

Thank you, Lucy.

Absolutely love going to Pilates with Lucy! As a mum of 2 I don’t get much time to myself but this is definitely what I needed to relax. But I’m also feeling stronger & my abs are working again xx

Lucy’s Pilates classes are:

Motivating, strengthens (I feel a difference), posture changing (in moments of the day it makes your muscles and mind notice the changes). A lovely hour spent and to look forward particularly during these strange difficult times.

Beautiful Lucy is a great teacher and a total inspiration.

PS. a saviour!

PPS. Lucy makes the room lovely peaceful and clean and well-spaced out.

This is a brilliant class which I just love where you really feel like you are getting a good workout. Lucy manages to get the best out of you even when you might doubt yourself. She is so calm and collected and very encouraging and there is no pressure to push yourself beyond your capabilities although it is always great when you find yourself doing more than you originally thought possible. Come along and see for yourself- you would be very welcome to join us.

Feeling it today! Great workout I really enjoyed it. I like it when I’m pushed that hard!
